1. Firstly, press the Ctrl + Alt+ Del keys together on the keyboard and go to the Task Manager.

5. Next, you have to go to the C:\ Users\ [User Name]\ AppData\ Local path and click on Intuit option there.
6. Here, you will find QBPOS Shell with .exe extension, you have to click right on the config file.
7. Then, you need to rename it as config-old and close all the open windows.

Solution 2: Creating a new Windows Admin User

First,  Make a new local user account

• For that, go to the Windows Start button and then to Settings.

• Then, move to the Accounts option, and click on the Family & other users option.

• Now, click on the option saying I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.

• After that, click on Add a user without a Microsoft account option.

• Lastly, enter the credentials and hit Next.

Secondly, Change the local user account to the admin option

• Now, enter the username that you created in the previous step and change the account type.
